2024 Review
It's always nice to look back at the last year and see the amazing places I've been and the beautiful things that I've been fortunate to find myself looking at... so here we go again! 2024 was a wee bit different to previous years as the number of photos with my actual camera has decreased significantly due, partly, to some prolonged, frustrating spells of bad weather/luck but also thanks to some different priorities out in the hills.
After finishing 2023 with the Pennine Way and soon getting itchy feet again this year, I did the Coast to Coast in May and, along the way, finally caught the Wainwright bug - so have spent a lot more time walking the hills and enjoying them for enjoyment's sake than in other years... finishing the year on 73/214 Wainwrights - so not a bad start! That's not to say I don't have thousands of phone photos from along the way, which can always be seen in (almost) real-time on my Instagram or Facebook Stories but overall the pool of careful, somewhat considered, camera photos to pick from was slightly smaller this time around - but here's what I've been left with for some personal favourites.
2024 Review

So Happy New Year to everyone and let's hope I can kick on and get most of the way through the Wainwrights before the start of 2026 (or complete them? Too ambitious?) and try to continue spending a bit of time just out with the camera this time too!
